Blue Honey Wine
Located in beautiful Ramona, CA, we are a micro-winery specializing in country wines (non-grape fruit wines) and meads (honeywine). Here at Blue Honey, we believe the fruits and honey are the stars of the show. We source from local farms in Ramona, and Fairfield Farms, and Solidarity Farms in Pauma Valley, CA, for the sweet, ripe fruits we use in making our wines. We use only raw, unfiltered honey for our meads. Our friends up the road at Trumper's supply us with our local honey. If you get a chance, stop by to pay them a visit. They have a delightful variety of honey, dried fruit snacks, and all types of jerky! They're open to the public on weekends.
With such great, fresh local ingredients, all we do is add a little love to enhance the fruit and honey flavors, to create these delicious, unique wines and meads. Campo Creek Vineyards
Campo Creek Vineyards and Winery is located in the beautiful mountains of East San Diego County, where the Clarke family raise cattle on a 400-acre ranch first established in 1888. The boutique vineyard on the ranch, was planted in 2003, and has since grown to approximately 10,000 grape vines, making it one of the largest vineyards in San Diego’s mountain region where the wine grapes thrive in the long, warm days of Southern California. The handcrafted wines produced at Campo Creek reflect the friendly and rustic environment of the ranch, as well as the dedication and hard work of the Clarke family. This no-nonsense cowboy charm extends to a friendly price point and exceptional value on the small batch wines, which include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Viognier, from the estate, and Zinfandel sourced from Potrero. Welcome to Deerhorn Valley Vineyards. We are a small family run Boutique Winery located in beautiful Deerhorn Valley in the San Diego foothills below the iconic Lions Peak in SE San Diego County. We have our own vineyard on the property with 5 varietals bathed in the San Diego County sunshine. All our wine is made in hand crafted small batches, most Reds aged in Oak. We offer a full range of Whites, Rose's and Red's plus Blends. Stock rotates often due to low volume small batches. When we have enough, we can have some wine sold in local stores, but we don't distribute. We prefer you to join us for a tasting so you know what you're buying. And besides, you'll really want to meet your host, Dianne! In addition to our award winning wine, we also stock excellent flavored Olive Oil, produced in Central Calif. And Balsamic Vinegar imported from Italy. You won't find this in the stores. The Garlic, Basil, & Blood Orange Olive Oils, are fresh pressed together NOT infused - this means both the fresh Herbs/Fruit and Olives are pressed together at the same time. The taste is amazing. You won't find this anywhere else in town. Our Pergola is open, so bring a picnic meal or snack to enjoy with your wine. Also, New outside seating, Front and Rear, and Parking Lot upgrade complete.

In a consistent world, each vintage would be identical to the last, but that is not what we find. The growth cycle and the seasons write the stories of our wines. Each harvest is a testament to the craftsmanship and hard work that gives birth to a new vintage every year. Overlooking the gorgeous San Pasqual Valley, Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery is one of the Escondido wineries. The rustic California style tasting room offers varietals from France, Italy, and Spain. This premium craftsmanship, limited production boutique winery, has a unique style that granted its recognition as one of the best San Diego wineries by many locals. Founded by Jeannine and Ed Embly in 2014, this ten-acre estate has been one of the Escondido wineries to produce 15 varietals of grapes. The Winemaker, Mike Embly, understood the potential in incorporating sustainable farming practices since he planted the first vines in 2009. Entirely self-sustainable, the vineyards reflect the values and traditions of this family-owned vineyard & winery in San Diego. All grapes grown in the estate receive the highest care, and the resources are all collected from the land. Every year this hidden gem in San Diego releases over 25 different wines directly at its Estate Tasting Room, many of them award-winning. The story found in every bottle shows how Hungry Hawk Vineyards is one of the best wineries in San Diego. As one of the Escondido wineries, Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery is located only five minutes away from the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, in the North County wine region. The San Pasqual Valley has quickly grown to being known for having some of the best San Diego wineries. The Mediterranean climate, with its long growing seasons and warm winters, provides the valley with optimal conditions to grow premium quality grapes. Interestingly enough, San Diego was the first area in California where grapevines were grown. It all goes back to 1769 when the Spanish Franciscan Missionaries settled California’s first mission; Mission San Diego de Alcalá. The mission planted the first grapes in 1788 and, over time, was known for producing quality wines. The journey of San Diego wineries furthered as French, German, and Italian immigrants, carrying clippings, arrived, introducing more European strains. The diversity of varietals allowed the San Diego wineries to flourish. Growth over time halted, even momentarily stopped as significant fires, floods, and prohibition took its toll on the industry. Today you can find many Escondido wineries with rich stories representing the history of its winemakers.

Menghini Winery is just above 4000 ft, nestled at the foothills of Volcan Mountain. The winery is located 2.5 miles outside of the historical town of Julian, Ca. We are the second oldest winery in San Diego County and the oldest in Julian, Ca. The winery is surrounded by apple orchards and a six acre vineyard. We have expansive picnic grounds with gorgeous 365 degree views of the countryside . Menghini Winery produces approximately 4,000 cases of wine annually. Our wine maker and co owner, Michael Menghini, started his wine career at San Pasqual Winery (now known as Orfila Winery) in the 70s. Michael continued his wine making career as assistant wine maker at Callaway Winery and wine maker at Filsinger Winery (now know as Danza del Sol Winery). In 1980, Michael and his beautiful wife, Toni, purchased Menghini Winery.

The Redmond Family Mia and John met in 2007 while both studying at UC San Diego. As their lives verged together, John pursued a career in Computer Engineering with a specialty in Low Power chip design while Mia followed passions first in the business side of Theatre and then a teaching career in Elementary Education with a specialty in science. With broad interests and a constant desire to learn, Mia and John believe in hard work and a strive for excellence. Mia and John married in 2010, the same year they purchased their first home together in Highland Valley, San Diego County. Both Mia and John were raised in country settings, and when they purchased their home and land they envisioned raising a family. Over the next few years they welcomed two beautiful children and each morning John would take a long run throughout the area. When he first spotted the 105 acre property, about a mile from their home, a dream began to ideate – one day, Mia and John would purchase that property, plant grapes and build an estate winery. In 2016, that vision of a “winery” became a reality. After several years of planting, learning, constructing, and designing, they officially debuted Mia Marie Vineyards, a family-owned, community-focused estate winery featuring top quality premium craft wine in Highland Valley, San Diego. Here at Trevi Hills, we carefully select varietals that work best in San Diego County’s Mediterranean terrain and Tuscan-like temperate zone. Rich minerals and decomposed granite enriching the soil, brings out unique characteristics in the style of our wines. Our nine year old vines consist of Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Sangiovese and Primitivo with the newest plantings of Merlot, Grenache, Mourvedre, Malbec, Tempranillo and Montepulciano.

Trevi Hills is the closest working winery to San Diego. All steps to make our THV wine is done on the estate. Our Story OLD WORLD WINES IN SAN DIEGO
The first vineyards in California were planted right here in San Diego at the Mission San Diego de Alcalá. Our hope is to establish San Diego County as a well known wine region, bringing wine lovers from all over to experience the taste and beauty of our area. Twin Oaks Valley Winery is a family owned and operated business. Established in 2001, the winery was purchased by Malcolm and Kathryn Gray in 2013 to introduce new and updated winemaking techniques to making old world wines and refresh the brand. We specialize in crafting small batches of wine from the finest grapes grown in San Diego County. As a member of the San Diego County Vintners Association, we are proud to support our local farmers and growers.
We are grateful to our community for embracing our winery, kindly allowing us to grow out of our current location. While our roots remain in Twin Oaks Valley and we continue to pursue building a state-of-the-art wine production facility and tasting room at 1451 Mulberry Drive in San Marcos, until that facility is complete, we are moving the tasting room and wine production to a NEW LOCATION on Grand Avenue in Escondido. Woof n Rose Winery
About the Winery
On a north facing hillside overlooking the Ramona Valley AVA sits Woof’n Rose Winery and its vineyards. Stephen and Marilyn Kahle own and operate the vineyard and winery with help from three sons and their respective families. The Kahle’s love of dogs, and rose bushes surrounding the winery, give a clue as to how aptly the winery is named.

Annual production is 300 to 350 cases per year. The specialty is Cabernet Franc, but the small vineyards also include all of the other classic Bordeaux varietals, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, and Petit Verdot, as well as Grenache Noir and Alicante Bouschet; the wines reflect these varietals and blends comprised of them. When you visit Woof’n Rose Winery for tasting you will sit on an outdoor veranda, overlooking the vineyards and the Ramona Valley, and will chat directly with the owners who double as grower, winemaker, and marketer.
